Harman's is privately stocking 1 1/2 miles of the North Fork River at the cabins, making it a premier destination for great trout fishing vacations. Even better, private stream access is restricted to customers of the property and permit holders.

This incredible climbing sanctuary boasts a Via Ferrata, zip lines, climbing, and wild caving.


Spruce Knob

Spruce Knob, West Virginia's highest peak, features stunning and unforgettable views from atop this beautiful mountain-scape. Enjoy the stunning scenery once you reach the 360-degree observational tower.


Bird Watching

The forests and mountains surrounding Harman’s are a birders paradise. From soaring Bald Eagles and Peregrine Falcons to backyard favorites such as Cardinals, Blue Birds and Scarlet Tanagers to Wild Turkeys in our mountain vistas, we have some of the most isolated and beautiful birding sites in the state of West Virginia.

Smoke Hole Caverns

This scenic cavern dwelling is complete with stalactites and plenty of other fascinating cave features that guests are invited to walk-through and experience in-person.


Nearby West Virginia Fishing

We have nearly 2 miles of private stream ready for you to fish, stocked with some of the biggest trout in West Virginia. However if you want to get out and explore nearby streams, here's a list of our recommended spots.


Dolly Sods

You will find Dolly Sods and the Monongahela National Forest literally right next door to Harman's Luxury Log Cabins. It's a perfect place to hike, camp, and check out the best view in West Virginia!


Blackwater Falls

Blackwater Falls is a must see when visiting the area around your cabin. Just a short 40 minute drive away is the landmark 57' waterfall, one of West Virginia's most photographed locations.


Skiing

Winter is an amazing time in West Virginia.  The fishing is great at Harman's Luxury Log Cabins, but so is the nearby skiing. Canaan Valley is less than an hour away and you can spend the entire day on the slopes and then relax by the fire in your cabin.
