Harman’s private access stream stretches for 2 miles along the North Fork River, and guests have free access to this hotbed for trophy trout fishing. Angling has never had a better view—the private stream is surrounded by lush forest and magnificent natural wonders. Guests are also not too far from some of the best trout streams in West Virginia.
Excellent Trout Fishing
Starting in September, the North Fork River is loaded with trophy trout fish. The stream is reloaded with trophy trout in October and November. The opportunity to get that prized catch is in your favor, making for a perfect fly-fishing getaway with friends or the family. Our typical fall schedule for loading trophy trout fish is as follows:
- September – Labor Day weekend or early month
- October – Early month and mid-month
- November – Early month and mid-month

Forgot something at home? Need a rental? No problem! The experienced staff at Harman’s Fly Fish Shop is here to assist you with your needs. The shop features several necessities and accessories including fly-fishing rods, Simms boots and waders, Fishpond vests, other gear, flies, and more. The shop is open year-round, with hours varying by season.

Harman’s fly-fishing cabins are spacious, luxury cabin rentals in WV with the comforts of home and a splash of West Virginia wilderness.
