Seneca Rocks Discovery Center

Day Hiking at Seneca Rocks
Strap on your hiking boots and head to the Seneca Rocks Hiking Trail. The trail is great for all ages, providing a fantastic day hike around Seneca Rocks. The trail is 2.6 miles round-trip that reaches 700 feet in elevation and begins at the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center. The trail becomes steep, so be sure to keep youngsters nearby.
Go Underground at Seneca Caverns
Discover an entirely different world when you travel 165 feet below the entrance to Seneca Caverns. Seneca Creek is located near the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center and flows into the North Fork South Branch of the Potomac River. This wild-trout stream is populated with brook and rainbow trout. The creek has several small waterfalls and pools.

Looking to learn how to rock climb, or just looking to brush up on your skills? Visit Seneca Rocks Climbing School where visitors can take private or group guided classes that will teach you the fundamentals of rock climbing. Seneca Rocks Climbing School also offers advanced classes. All instructors are American Mountain Guides Association certified and Seneca Rocks Climbing School has instructed climbers since 1971. All courses can last between one to three days and rates start at $295 per person.
Still Hollow Spirits
Located 12 miles west of Seneca Rocks is Still Hollow Spirits, a family-supported distillery that specializes in mountain-style whiskeys and unique botanical infusions.
