Harman's North Fork Cottages is located on Rt. 55/28 10 miles west of Petersburg, WV, 13 miles east of Seneca Rocks, WV, and two miles from Smoke Hole Caverns. (Road Signs to Smoke Hole Caverns are everywhere). It's an easy, scenic drive to our prime spots on the North Fork of the South Branch of the Potomac River - home to some of the most breathtaking scenery for log cabin lodging in West Virginia.

FROM DC/NVA I-66:
Take I-66 West to I-81 South. Exit 296 Strasburg on Rt. 55West. Follow Rt. 55 W to Wardensville, Moorefield, and Petersburg, WV. Follow Rt. 55/28W 10 miles to Harman's North Fork Cottages. We are located next door to Cabins A/G Church.

As you travel along Rt. 55West, we are 2 miles west of Smoke Hole Caverns. The office will be on the right hand side and the cabins will be on the left hand side of Rt55/28 from this direction.

FROM NVA RT-7:
Take Rt 7 West. To I-81 South. Exit 296 Strasburg on Rt. 55West. Follow Rt. 55 W to Wardensville, Moorefield, and Petersburg, WV. Follow Rt. 55/28W 10 miles to Harman's North Fork Cottages. We are located next door to Cabins A/G Church.

As you travel along Rt. 55West, we are 2 miles west of Smoke Hole Caverns. The office will be on the right hand side and the cabins will be on the left hand side of Rt55/28 from this direction.

FROM SOUTH/WEST I-79:
Take I-79 North to Rt. 33 East. Follow Rt. 33 E to Elkins and Seneca Rocks. At the 3 way intersection turn left. Follow Rt. 55/28E 13 miles to Harman's North Fork Cottages. We are located next door to Cabins A/G Church.

The office will be on the left hand side and the cabins will be on the right hand side of Rt55/28 from this direction.

If you pass Harman's West Virginia Cabins, you will need to turn around when you get to Smoke Hole Caverns. We are located 2 miles west of Smoke Hole Caverns.

FROM SOUTH/EAST I-81:
Take I-81 North to Harrisonburg, VA. Exit onto Rt. 33 to Franklin, WV. At Franklin take Rt. 220 North to Petersburg, WV. Follow Rt. 55/28 W 10 miles to Harman's North Fork Cottages. We are located next door to Cabins A/G Church. The office will be on the right hand side and the cabins will be on the left hand side of Rt55/28 from this direction.

If you pass Harman's West Virginia Cabins, you will need to turn around when you get to Smoke Hole Caverns. We are located 2 miles west of Smoke Hole Caverns.

FROM NORTH/WEST PITTSBURGH, I-79:
Take I-79 South to Rt. 33 East. Follow Rt. 33 E to Elkins and Seneca Rocks. At the 3 way intersection turn left. Follow Rt. 55/28E 13 miles to Harman's North Fork Cottages. We are located next door to Cabins A/G Church.

FROM I-68 Cumberland, MD:
Cumberland, MD. At Cumberland, take Rt. 220 South through Keyser, WV until it intersects with Rt. 50 at New Creek. Take Rt. 50 West only a short distance until it junctions with RT. 93 West. Take this until you reach the blinking stop lights. Turn left on Rt. 42 South. Follow this until you reach Petersburg, WV. Turn right onto Rt. 55/28 West. Follow this for 10 miles until you reach Harman's North Fork Cottages. We are located next door to Cabins A/G Church.

As you travel along Rt. 55West, we are 2 miles west of Smoke Hole Caverns. The office will be on the right hand side and the cabins will be on the left hand side of Rt55/28 from this direction.

FROM NORTH/EAST I-81:
Take I-81 South to Winchester, VA. Exit on 37 bypass to Rt. 50 West. Take Rt. 50 W to Rt. 259 South. Take Rt. 259 S to Wardensville. At Wardensville take Rt. 55 West to Moorefield, and Petersburg, WV. Follow Rt. 55 /28 West 10 miles to Harman's North Fork Cottages. We are located next door to Cabins A/G Church.

At the Lewisburg Exit take Rt. 219 North to 39 East to Rt. 28 North. Follow Rt. 28 N to Seneca Rocks. Follow Rt. 55/28East 13 miles to Harman's North Fork Cottages. We are located next door to Cabins A/G Church.

The office will be on the left hand side and the cabins will be on the right hand side of Rt55/28 from this direction.

Take I-70 to Hancock, MD. At Hancock, take I-68 West to Cumberland, MD. At Cumberland, take Rt. 220 South through Keyser, WV until it intersects with Rt. 50 at New Creek.
